Jim Nall was born November 9, 1968. Born under the astrological sign of Scorpio, Jim believes in Justice, Equality, and Integrity.

After earning a BSEE (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) at Purdue University in 1992, Jim became interested in electronics, guitars, music, and production of music. Picking up the instrument in 1991, Jim later decided it was to create his own music.

In 1997, after personal health problems, Jim decided his musical group would be called "Futant Oblivion." Jim learned of the term "Futant" after Tool's release of Aenima in 1997, in their liner notes for that album.

Later, in 2006, "Law of Decay" was released on the internet. This freshman album provided instrumentals from the edge of madness, and other albums followed suit.

In 2007, "This Chosen Madness" was released and received fairly decent fanfare for a sophomoric instrumental album.

Since then, 2 other albums have been released free on the internet, and more are soon to come!

Jim now spends his time producing music and composing instrumentals.

Recently "Vivaldi's Winter," the last track on "This Chosen Madness" was featured in Hoad's Grim audiobook drama by author Jack Kincaid.

Expect more from Jim in the future....and relish the insanity!!!
